Google Warning on Guest Posting
With the recent post from Google The decay and fall of guest blogging for SEO, Google is raising a warning to all SEO and Internet Marketers. Google is warning us that Google now considers “low quality guest posting” to be spam under their guidelines and will begin to take action in accordance with those beliefs.
As per Google post:
Okay, I’m calling it: if you’re using guest blogging as a way to gain links in 2014, you should probably stop. Why? Because over time it’s become a more and more spammy practice, and if you’re doing a lot of guest blogging then you’re hanging out with really bad company.
As per Matt Cutt, he said:

- Well written
- Relevant to your audience and
- Exclusive to you
Getting guest posts and writing unrelated forum / blog post or comments with the hyperlink back to your website will be considered spam back link if the content is of low quality. This could be good for white-hat SEO technique and the agencies which conducts all manual and sensible SEO activities. But, also on the other hand this raises a security and illegal online reputation impact on any website and need a Removal Strategy too work on these low quality / spam content in order to take them down and improve overall online reputation of a website.
